REGISTRATION
PARTICIPATING IN SIKC
By adding your dog to the Alabai stud book, you will have access to a variety of competitive and leisurely activities with your companion. They will be able to compete in Conformation, Obedience, Agility, and much more.

For prospective breeders, compliance with stud book regulations also stands as a baseline testament of ethical practice. Your dog's lineage will also be conveniently traced for generations to come.
Breeding Lines
The Central Asian Ovcharka is known to have four lines in existence, including: show, working, livestock, and fighting lines. When registering your dog, it is important to distinguish between them both physically and behaviorally - to include if they are mixed. All mixed lines are welcome, however the ABA absolutely will not register dogs with any current history of fighting lines in their ancestry. While selective breeding has done a great deal to lessen the innate dog aggression found in these lines by breeding it out, we are only able to accept dogs that have not used any dogs with these influences for countless generations.
