The Application Process

Once an application has been submitted, it may take approximately a week to hear a response - although we attempt to be in contact sooner.

If you do not hear back within this time, please feel free to give @Kaiser a nudge on the SIKC forum.
There are a few guidelines that go along with requesting a Service Dog from our organization.

The first, you must be active on the SIKC forum.
This goes without saying as we want to see our dogs being used and - when appropriate - participating in the events our community has to offer. A lot of time goes into these dogs!

Please actually use a sim that is disabled, regardless of whether cc can sufficiently demonstrate the sims' condition.

​Please understand that we will collect a monetary fee of $400 in SIKC currency upon the surrender of the fully trained and certified Service Dog. This is not seen as profit but rather 'training fees' associated with providing for the dog while it is a candidate. This is also just a small bit of compensation for our breeders who put so much effort into creating the dogs.

Our application process is meant to be somewhat thorough in an effort to simulate the real-world process of acquiring a Service Dog. These questions are not about you, the user, personally. They should only be answered in regards to the sim that has the disability warranting a Service Dog.
Please do not provide us with any actual medical or personal information that applies to you, the user, personally! It is fine if your sim shares common history with you, but we don't need to know this.
